Hatha Yoga
The hatha yoga is an energy giving practice that strengthens the body and soothes mind. While using a controlled breathing, stretching muscles, and making joints supple, it consists of a succession of postures which develop flexibility and meditation. The benefits of yoga can be felt as soon as the first class. Each class starts with the setting up of controlled breathing, followed with asanas (postures) and it ends with a relaxation session as a kind of meditation.

The tai chi chuan
Tai Chi Chuan is an energy-giving gymnastics from Chinese origin. Practically, each 45 minute session consists of various continuous and circular movements which are slowly and precisely performed. The progression of the movements which recall both a slow dance and a slow-moving fight develops coordination and ligtheness and makes the general dynamics of the body stronger. The attention given to breathing, linked to the slow and supple movements taught by the teacher, enables a deep relaxation which contributes towards a managing of stress and a regaining of quietness. Such a technique can be open to everybody : it is not necessary to be an experimented athlete to practice Tai Chi Chuan.
